End of a Chapter.

I graduated high school on June 7, 2013 at 7:30 at Dee Events Center.  I have been dreading this day since my first day of senior year.  I literally love high school so much. All those kids that hate it, they must be doing something wrong, because i have loved it.  It has been the golden years in my life.  I am so grateful for every single opportunity and experience i have had and gone through the past 3 years! I am so glad i decided to go to Syracuse High.  It is the school to go to for a good time for sure. I had the time of my life. I don't think it was graduation that makes me sad, i think its knowing that some of the people i have talked to and seen every single day will never be in my life again.  I am the most sad about not being able to see my friend Adam, Marcus, Austin, Kassandra, and Kara, and Sam.  I am also extremely sad to leave my teachers Mrs. Olson, Evans, and Bearnson.
Mrs. Olson is such a doll. She has made such an influence in my life.  I loved going to ProStart everyday.  She is so nice and acts like a student.  She took my pictures, listened to all our crazy stories, gave me advice,  and just made school and extremely fun place to go and be.  I love her and will miss seeing her everyday.
Mr. Evans.  He is my favorite man ever.  He taught me so much! He was so patient with me and i loved how he could joke with me and i would joke with him.  He is one of those teachers that i feel like is my dad.  I could tell him anything and i know he didn't judge me.  He literally made such an influence in my life.  Such a wonderful man.  The last words he said to me, "Please keep in touch hun, it is extremely hard to see you go. You have become one of my favorites, you are like my kid. I want to know how you are doing." That was a definite tear jerker.
Mr. Bearnson was also my favorite. I loved going to his class, i had him for all 3 years in high school.  He is such a smart A. I loved listening to his stories.  I also enjoyed talking to him on a more personal level.  He knew all my problems and he encouraged me to do well in school and would yell at me if i didn't have my grades up.  I am extremely grateful for him.
I know i will still keep in touch with Ash, Bay, Brayds, Bray, Loges, and Colton. it doesn't make me as sad to see them graduate, because i know we will remain close.  I will still miss them though.
I also am going to miss all the stupid little things that happen everyday in the hall: Adam saying, "Oh you have 2 shoes." Sam saying, "That's embarassing."  Coltons awkward wave and wink face everyday.  Meeting by the office after school, racing to hold the door open for the boys, matching Ashy every single day.  It is such a sweet memory and makes me cry every time i think about it ending.  I know i will still have many amazing opportunities to come, but its hard when what you have known and has become your whole life suddenly ends in one night.

He has been my best friend since sophomore year.
I LOVE HIM! He has taught me alot and been there for
me through everything.

The .007 seconds Loges grabs my hand, a pic was taken. Yeah.  It would happen.

I'm so thankful for my parents pushing me to do
well in school.  I love you!
Me and my favorite Adam!

I am so glad Thee one and only Beautiful Kayla Byrum
came to see me graduate. I Love Her!! (:

The reanactment of Last years pic when Tay and Kayla graduated. So glad they
were both there to see me graduate.

Last Day Of High School

The last day of high school was extremely sad for me.  I am not going to even say it was bittersweet, cause it was just bitter.  I loved high school!  The last day all we did was an end of year assembly and signed yearbooks! My yearbook is so full its ridic!  I got every single person i HAD to get except Bearnson..the dirthead!

 These kids have made my senior year so much fun! I love every single one of them.  I would do anything i could for them.  I am so glad i got the opportunity to meet them and have some crazy memories with them.

These boys....I love them! Colton and Logan try everything they can to make me feel awkward, which just doesn't happen.  They have tried holding my hand, stroking my face, stroking my legs, stroking my head, picking me up, sitting on my lap, and on the last day of school kissing me. Both on the cheek and the lips.  Crazy boys (;

After school and everything got done, Bri said, "Kena we are sleeping in the teepee."  It definitely was super fun!

What a crazy last day of school i had.  I wouldn't have it any other way! It was filled with fun, and i definitely will remember my last day of high school for the rest of my life.

yoyo mob!

Sometimes Ashy and Bay Bay win yo-yo's and we play with them for hours at school! Don't worry, they light up! (;

MORP

Morp...what can i say? Besides Cotillion, it was my absolute favorite dance in the history of high school. I went with my good friend Sam Fink! He is such a funny kid, so i figured it would be a good choice for my last dance.  For the day date, i picked him up and blindfolded him.  Yup, i am a rude date (; Then while we were halfway there we decided to take them off, so the Boys could see.  We decided since it was our last day date, we had to do something crazy! We went up to Park City and did the zipline and the Alpine Slide.  It was totally worth it and the boys also had a really good time.  We had a picnic, but the only place we could find to eat was in the middle of the road in a little grassy median. Who does that?!? Only the coolest.  Sam and Colton had to wave to everyone that passed and they got mad if they didn't get acknowledged.  After that we went home and got ready. The theme was ThriftShop, so there wasn't much to get ready for. Then we went to the old ghetto streets in Ogden to do our pictures.  We dressed as hobos, so it was crazy fun! Sam begged and begged to drive, and i now know why. He is a ridiculous driver, but hey, made the date more interesting. We went to Applebee's for dinner. While we were there Sam showed me the saltburn thing.  You dump salt on your arm and hold ice on it, and it supposedly stings like no other.  Me, Sam, Brady, and Carlos tried it, and they all threw the ice off within 20 seconds...but....i did not even feel it at all.  So...naturally (me being not so smart) tried it again.  It definitely doesn't work.  We had such a good time at the dance as well.  It was crazy!  We danced and partied because it was our last dance.  It was crazy hot though.  By the end of the night, we stripped half of our clothes and put it in Sam's backpack.  Things got a little crazy, (but not really, just normal high school behavior) So...the mean dirthead guy ended the dance early. JERK. We all got kicked out. The dance ended and we went home to change clothes, cause it was hecka hot! After that, we did some doughnuts in the church parking lot, did a knee break and some other crazy spinny things.  Sam must think he is a racecar driver.  Then we went to Ash's to play board games, but we didn't stay long.  Me, Bay, Sam, and Carlos left. We just drove around and did fun, crazy things.  We ended the night with a fire at my house.  I literally had to ask Sam, "How do you put out a fire?" Yeah. Bad i know.  But hey it was 1:30 in the morning. I was tired.  It was definitely a great end to the perfect last high school dance.  I had the time of my life.

Seminary Grad

On May 19, 2013 I graduated seminary! It was such an accomplishment to me, and i was very proud of myself because..well ya see...i used to sluff ALOT! Not now though (: I love it so much! It was such a good program! I am so happy i got to graduate with some of the best friends i could ask for.
                I know without a shadow of a doubt that i am a part of the true church. I am proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I KNOW that my Heavenly Father loves me and that he wants what is best for me.  He knows me better than i know myself, He also knows all the experiences i need to have in order to grow and learn the things i need to learn.  I know that the scriptures are true and by reading them a little bit every day, it can strengthen your testimony and teach you amazing concepts and truths you can't learn in any other way.  I know that through prayer i can receive answers to the things in life i am unsure about.  I know Heavenly Father hears our prayers and that he answers every prayer in his own way at his own time.  I know God will be there for me every second of every day. I know that if i have a struggle in my life i can pray and receive the comfort and answers i need.  I know that the temple is the house of God.  I know that the blessings and feelings you receive there are true.  I am thankful for the temple and all the amazing opportunities i have encountered because of it. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of the church and he instructs us on the things we need to follow and live so we can live worthy to enter into the Celestial Kingdom one day. I love the church with all my heart and know that without its amazing influence in my life i would be lost.  I know that the gospel can help me through anything. I am extremely grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
