MORP

Morp...what can i say? Besides Cotillion, it was my absolute favorite dance in the history of high school. I went with my good friend Sam Fink! He is such a funny kid, so i figured it would be a good choice for my last dance.  For the day date, i picked him up and blindfolded him.  Yup, i am a rude date (; Then while we were halfway there we decided to take them off, so the Boys could see.  We decided since it was our last day date, we had to do something crazy! We went up to Park City and did the zipline and the Alpine Slide.  It was totally worth it and the boys also had a really good time.  We had a picnic, but the only place we could find to eat was in the middle of the road in a little grassy median. Who does that?!? Only the coolest.  Sam and Colton had to wave to everyone that passed and they got mad if they didn't get acknowledged.  After that we went home and got ready. The theme was ThriftShop, so there wasn't much to get ready for. Then we went to the old ghetto streets in Ogden to do our pictures.  We dressed as hobos, so it was crazy fun! Sam begged and begged to drive, and i now know why. He is a ridiculous driver, but hey, made the date more interesting. We went to Applebee's for dinner. While we were there Sam showed me the saltburn thing.  You dump salt on your arm and hold ice on it, and it supposedly stings like no other.  Me, Sam, Brady, and Carlos tried it, and they all threw the ice off within 20 seconds...but....i did not even feel it at all.  So...naturally (me being not so smart) tried it again.  It definitely doesn't work.  We had such a good time at the dance as well.  It was crazy!  We danced and partied because it was our last dance.  It was crazy hot though.  By the end of the night, we stripped half of our clothes and put it in Sam's backpack.  Things got a little crazy, (but not really, just normal high school behavior) So...the mean dirthead guy ended the dance early. JERK. We all got kicked out. The dance ended and we went home to change clothes, cause it was hecka hot! After that, we did some doughnuts in the church parking lot, did a knee break and some other crazy spinny things.  Sam must think he is a racecar driver.  Then we went to Ash's to play board games, but we didn't stay long.  Me, Bay, Sam, and Carlos left. We just drove around and did fun, crazy things.  We ended the night with a fire at my house.  I literally had to ask Sam, "How do you put out a fire?" Yeah. Bad i know.  But hey it was 1:30 in the morning. I was tired.  It was definitely a great end to the perfect last high school dance.  I had the time of my life.

Seminary Grad

On May 19, 2013 I graduated seminary! It was such an accomplishment to me, and i was very proud of myself because..well ya see...i used to sluff ALOT! Not now though (: I love it so much! It was such a good program! I am so happy i got to graduate with some of the best friends i could ask for.
I know without a shadow of a doubt that i am a part of the true church. I am proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I KNOW that my Heavenly Father loves me and that he wants what is best for me.  He knows me better than i know myself, He also knows all the experiences i need to have in order to grow and learn the things i need to learn.  I know that the scriptures are true and by reading them a little bit every day, it can strengthen your testimony and teach you amazing concepts and truths you can't learn in any other way.  I know that through prayer i can receive answers to the things in life i am unsure about.  I know Heavenly Father hears our prayers and that he answers every prayer in his own way at his own time.  I know God will be there for me every second of every day. I know that if i have a struggle in my life i can pray and receive the comfort and answers i need.  I know that the temple is the house of God.  I know that the blessings and feelings you receive there are true.  I am thankful for the temple and all the amazing opportunities i have encountered because of it. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of the church and he instructs us on the things we need to follow and live so we can live worthy to enter into the Celestial Kingdom one day. I love the church with all my heart and know that without its amazing influence in my life i would be lost.  I know that the gospel can help me through anything. I am extremely grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
